University Park, PA (WJAC) — The Penn State Model Railroad Club had a display set up Thursday at the Hub on the University Park campus.
The student club has been at Penn State since 1955 but has been without a permanent home for the past five years.
Officials say renovations at Pennypacker Hall forced the club out, and they're currently working with the university to find a permanent place to show their trail models.
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WEAR) — Three people are dead after 18 were shot at a party in Baldwin County, Alabama Saturday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the Stockton Community.
"Our preliminary investigation has revealed that local residents hosted a May Day event yesterday in an open field on Upper Bryant’s Landing Road," Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. "We estimated that there were approximately 1,000 people attending this gathering.

A press release from the National Park Service says an 83-year-old woman from Greenville, South Carolina was gored by a bison on June 1 in Yellowstone National Park.

New York (AP) — A man was arrested in Peru after U.S. officials say he sent 150 bomb threats to U.S. school districts, synagogues, airports, hospitals and to a mall last month, according to Department of Justice officials.
Investigators said Eddie Manuel Nunez Santos of Lima, Peru, approached young girls on an unnamed gaming platform posing as a teenage boy named "Lucas" and requested they send him sexually explicit photographs of themselves.

Illinois governor tells agencies to cut $800 million, says he won't sign unbalanced budget

(TCS) — Gov. J.B. Pritzker says the message being sent by a memo directing state agencies to anticipate $800 million less to spend than what he proposed is that he will not sign an unbalanced budget.
In February, Pritzker proposed spending $52.7 billion. Last week, his administration sent agency directors a memo saying the $1 billion in tax increases he proposed aren’t popular and to anticipate they won’t be approved.
