CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — It's something everyone has to learn how to do eventually: properly manage money. But it's something that many don't learn until they're out of school or on their own. Conemaugh Valley High School has been working with nonprofit The Challenge Program for 10 years to give students the opportunity to get a handle on their finances and prepare them for the workforce. Students learn money management by gaining hands-on experience running their own credit union kiosk, the Bird Cage, at the school.

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Blair County say an Altoona mother is facing charges after she reportedly left her four young children home alone while she attended a "drug and alcohol convention" in Ocean City, Maryland over the weekend. Police say on Sunday evening, officers were contacted after the young children were reportedly found walking in the street. CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Roughly 270 people are losing their jobs working remotely in Cincinnati for an international bank's call center. One woman told WKRC there was no notice at all. Tammy Williams' routine morning was completely changed by lunchtime on Tuesday. Her job of eight years was gone without a warning. There was no sign of respect, integrity, or even just caring about other people shown by Barclays," said Williams.Williams said she started working for Barclays when it opened its call center in Hamilton back in 2016.

Jen Johnson co-anchors 6 News at 5 and 6 News at 6. Jen arrived at WJAC in July of 1992. She had just graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in Psychology. Her career started in the Centre County newsroom, where she made the transition from photographer to reporter. Jen transferred to Johnstown in 1994. BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The director of pediatric cardiac critical care with Johns Hopkins Medicine is on leave after he allegedly posted hate-filled messages on social media.
