HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Two Pennsylvania lawmakers say they are planning to introduce legislation that would designate March 13 as "K9 Veterans Day" in the Commonwealth. Currently, several other states, including New Jersey, Florida, Michigan, and West Virginia, recognize the "holiday." If passed, the legislation would require the Governor to issue an annual proclamation calling upon Pennsylvanians to observe the day with various educational activities and programs. NEW YORK (AP) — Charlie Colin, bassist and founding member of the American pop-rock band Train, best known for their early-aughts hits like “Drops of Jupiter" and “Meet Virginia,” has died. He was 58. Colin’s sister Carolyn Stephens confirmed her brother's death to The Associated Press Wednesday. He died after slipping and falling in the shower while house-sitting for a friend in Brussels, Belgium, celebrity website TMZ.com reported. Colin grew up in California and Virginia and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston.
