UPDATE | CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — During a press conference Thursday morning, Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees identified the victim of Wednesday's fatal house fire in Adams Township. Lees said officials identified the victim, via dental records, as 47-year-old April Baxendale. Investigators say Baxendale died as a result of toxic smoke and gas inhalation, as well as thermal injuries, including burns on 75-percent of her body. Authorities say Baxendale and a relative were reportedly sleeping in a portable tent, in the first-floor living area of their Mount Airy Drive residence, when flames broke out.
Investigations could be slowed down with a ‘Ring’ that could make it more difficult for law enforcement to obtain doorbell camera footage. The Ring Neighbor app used to allow users to assist investigators by sending video directly to police through the app with the ‘Request for Assistance’ tool. That tool allowed investigators to send a request to people with cameras in the area asking for help. That has now been taken away.

She said, “it takes a lot to work in this industry. I make hardly anything compared to what I make in tips.” That’s a feeling heard from many people working in the food service industry.
UPDATE | HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police have confirmed that a suspect in custody following Friday's "barricade incident" in Mount Union Borough. Police say around 10 a.m., members of the US Marshals Service attempted to serve a warrant for 33-year-old Stephon Hoover. Authorities say Hoover reportedly fled into his residence, where he remained barricaded inside for several hours. Police say Hoover was eventually taken into custody without incident.
