JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) - Even though the coronavirus pandemic continues, many animals still need good homes right now. We are still showing you adoptable animals in our fur-ever friends segment. It's a great time to adopt an animal.
Jessica Vamos, the executive director of the Humane Society of Cambria County, joined us for a video chat to show off one of their adoptable animals. She said so many animals in our area still need homes right now.
Rite Aid will be taking over prescriptions for patients after Mainline Pharmacy announced that it will be closing most of it's locations starting at the beginning of March.
According to John Pastorek, Director of Pharmacy, the decision to close the locations is due to the cost of the medications versus the reimbursement from Pharmacy Benefit Managers, which he explains is the middleman that contracts with an individual's insurance company and their pharmacy.
