The Little Caring Caboose is located at the Depot at Doolittle's on Rich Highway in DuBois. Owner Dr. Jeffrey Rice said through his practice, he sees the challenges families with special needs children face. "It's tough on the families because they can't really go out in public that often," Rice said. "
ASHLAND, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a woman and her teenage brother were killed in a fire that destroyed an eastern Pennsylvania home, also injuring two other relatives. Officials in Schuylkill County said the blaze was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Friday in the Butler Township residence. Fire officials said crews arrived to find that the structure had collapsed and were unable to reach the victims. In the video of Prince George’s County Officer Francesco Marlett, which now has millions of views, children can be heard playing in the background. After an embrace, Officer Marlett and the woman climb into the back seat of the marked police car anddisappear behind heavily tinted windows.
ALTOONA -- Dr. Rebecca Delbaggio turned herself in Tuesday morning after the State Attorney General's Office alleged that she wrote illegal prescriptions for her boyfriend, who was not her patient. She faces 14 felony drug counts and one count of conspiracy as well as dozens of misdemeanor charges. Delbaggio was a pediatrician at UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics in Hollidaysburg, according to the criminal complaint. Pittsburgh-based UPMC media relations manager Andrea Kunicky said that Delbaggio was first suspended, then ultimately terminated when the company discovered the illegal activity.
SYKESVILLE - State police and family members continue their search for a Jefferson county woman who has been missing for nine years. In the early morning hours of July 12, 2007, authorities responded to a fire at Joey Lynn Offutt's home. After the fire was extinguished, the remains of Offutt's 6-week-old son were discovered. Police said further evidence showed the baby had died before the fire. That fire was ruled arson.
