Pair jailed following drug trafficking investigation in Johnstown
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say two men are behind bars following a months-long drug trafficking investigation in the city of Johnstown.
Officials say the investigation began in February when authorities received an alleged tip of suspected drug activity at a residence along Solomon Street.
Investigators say on Friday, April 26th, authorities executed a search warrant at the home and arrested 43-year-old Dashaun CarMichael and 22-year-old Tishaun CarMichael.
Officials say law enforcement seized over 5 grams of crack cocaine, nearly 800 grams of heroin/fentanyl and 230 stamp bags of suspected fentanyl, as well as over $2,400 cash, a 9mm handgun and a digital scale.
Police say the men have since been charged with various offenses related to possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.
