DUBOIS, Pa. — Danone North America announced the opening of a new building and addition to its assembly line at the company's DuBois location Friday.
Officials said the plant on Oklahoma Salem Road is the largest production facility making plant-based yogurt alternatives in the country.
"Danone is a world leading food and beverage company and our mission is to bring health through food to as many people as possible," said Plant Director Chad Stone.
Authorities continue searching for a woman who went missing while she was on a cruise to the Caribbean with her family nearly three decades ago. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said Amy Lynn Bradley, of Petersburg, Virginia, was last seen on March 24, 1998. At that time, she was 23 years old and vacationing with her loved ones aboard the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line’s ship Rhapsody of the Seas.

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Hollidaysburg say an Alum Bank man is facing charges after he allegedly injured a young child.
According to the affidavit, police say 34-year-old Joshua Troutman is accused of throwing a phone at the head of a 5-year-old boy.
Troopers say the child reportedly suffered a "large contusion" to his forehead.
During his preliminary arraignment on March 15th, authorities say Troutman allegedly claimed that he threw a lotion bottle at the child, not a phone.
Bake-off between Huntingdon friends turns into national movement, "Cookies for Caregivers"

HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WJAC) — Two Huntingdon County men are now known as the "Cookie Dads" after a friendly competition turned into a national movement.
Friends Scott McKenzie and Jeremy Uhrich of Huntingdon spend their free time baking cookies using a cup of kindness and a dash of devotion.
It all started last March when the pandemic caused Scott to be furloughed from his job, and he was looking for new hobbies.
A Cambria County business brought blood pressure screenings and vaccinations to the community Wednesday.
Best Way Pizza in Ebensburg hosted the event.
Different vaccinations provided included tetanus, COVID, pneumonia and shingles shots.
Nicole Dixon is the clinical pharmacist at Community Pharmacy in Tyrone, and she said they're also offering a new RSV vaccine.
Dixon said it's important to get vaccinated not only to protect yourself, but others as well.

The Mary S. Biesecker Library in Somerset has received a $222,394.76 Keystone grant to improve the building.
"The goal of this initiative is to increase the accessibility of the building," Morgan Simmons, IT and Facilities Coordinator
Simmons hopes that the grant will help fund the installation of an elevator. Currently the building is accessible to all from the lower level, but once inside the only way to get to the main floor is stairs.
Stop & Shop's parent company, Ahold Delhaize, has announced plans to close an undisclosed number of "underperforming" stores. J.J. Fleeman, who is the chief executive officer of Ahold Delhaize USA, shared the news during "Strategy Day 2024," which was held in The Netherlands Thursday. He said closing the stores is part of a plan to improve the supermarket chain's overall performance.
